1. Inner ducts of the two flexible air ducts are exposed by pushing their outer jackets and the insulation layers. The inner ducts are pushed minimum 25 mm over the connection pieces which are selected according to their diameters. |

2. The connection piece is sealed with aluminium tape at least two windings around the duct. Then the clamp is attached tightly.

3. The outer jackets and the insulation layers are straightened out as they will cover the clamp on duct. Without leaving any space between insulation layers, the aluminium tape should be used at least two windings around the duct. A second clamp can be used to extend the life span of the joint. |
