Application Data: Construction System |
1. First of all, the flexible air duct should be controlled whether it carries itself without any sagging. Because if the duct can not carry itself, then it sags more than the permitted limits even the suspension points are applied frequently.
2. The suspension clamps of the flexible air duct should be fastened very carefully not causing any damage or transformation on the duct. The width of the clamps should be minimum 40 mm.
3. Flexible air ducts can be laid on roof beams with a maximum distance of 1,5 m. If it is more, suspension hangers will be used. |
4. The connection of flexible air ducts to main canals and armatures should be performed very carefully. Because many of the ducts are being mounted with a bend, right after the connection, a supporting suspension will be applied. So connection part does not crack. Connection bends should not be too sharp to avoid pressure loss and noise. |
5. Flexible air ducts should not be in contact with other existing components with high temperature such as central heating or steam pipes. Otherwise the air flowing through the duct can get negatively affected. |

6. Distributing, collecting etc. equipments should be hung seperately not to transfer their weight to flexible air ducts.
7. While mounting flexible air ducts vertically, the suspension spacing should be maximum 1,8 m. The width of the clamps should be minimum 40 mm and as in horizontal applications, be fastened very carefully not causing any damage or transformation on the duct. |
