Flexible air ducts have to be suitable for bending and attention should be paid not to damage them. It is important that the bending nominal radius (r) is less than duct diamter (D). Bending against the flow direction and connecting too sharp will harm the system. In order to keep system performance high and pressure loss minimum, bends should be used as few as possible.
