In spite of the 1994 crisis; ODE, which was selling polyethylene since 1989, took the decision for investment of polyethylene and opened the polyethylene production plant in 1996. It became the leader of the installation market because of the lamination line opened in 1998 and the second production line in 2000. Today, it has the biggest market portion with the 1000 tone/year production capacity.

All over the world, ODE is the only firm producing polyethylene sheets without onduline. The high quality of the products are approved by several tests and certified; thus it is in the export business with Azerbaijan , Bulgaria, Georgia, Israil, Persia, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Kosovo, Kenya, Uzbekistan, Romania, Russia, Syria, Turkmenistan and Jordan. ODE, having a TSEK certification, targets to enlarge outside of the insulation market and to increase the using percentages of the capacity.
